Celebrating Success


At Shawley we like to reward children with VIP (Very Important Pupil) Lanyards when they have excelled at something. We particularly look for children who promote the school values and are excellent role models to others in terms of following the school rules.

Our most recent VIP awards have gone to:

Mylee (Sea Turtles) for being an excellent role model to others. Mylee works conscientiously and always tries her best, looking for ways to improve her work. She is a pleasure to have in the class.

Lilly (Leopards) is consistently hard working and actively participates in all lessons. She is always helpful in the classroom and is a fabulous learning partner, working with anyone in the class. Lilly is an all round star!

Chloe (Tigers) is a quiet, caring and gentle member of the class. She always follows the school rules and is extremely conscientious. Chloe always listens well and always puts 100% effort into all tasks. She takes pride in her work and it is always well presented.

Ella (Dolphins) consistently follows instructions and is ready to learn. She always challenges and extends her learning without prompting and is proactive in seeking help and guidance. Ella is always respectful and shows determination in all that she does.

Henry (Sea Turtles) has been recognised for his excellent manners. He is so polite to adults and his peers. His confidence has really increased this year and he makes great contributions in class. Henry also tries his best, consistently follows our rules and is an excellent role model to others.

Luca (Penguins) is a class role model. He is extremely hardworking. He always tries his best with all areas of his learning and he is kind and helpful to others. He consistently makes good choices, is polite and always comes to school with a friendly smile. Luca shows so much resilience when improving work. He can be trusted to work sensibly and co-operatively with everyone.

Violet (Dolphins) always approaches school and her learning enthusiastically. She puts great effort into all she attempts and works with determination. Violet is always kind, caring and positive and is a great role model to other children in the class.

Sophia (Lions) is always polite, thoughtful and kind. She is a motivated, hardworking learner who always strives to do her best. Sophia is always helpful and can be relied upon to carry out classroom jobs quietly, sensibly and efficiently. She is a kind and encouraging learning partner and a brilliant role model. Mrs Clement and Mrs Stephenson are proud that she is a member of Lions Class.
