SHAWLEY COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Support for Parents during the Coronavirus (Covid-19)

The Coronavirus outbreak has presented us all with many new challenges. These documents contain information, advice and links to local and national support for you at this particularly difficult time. Topics covered in the documents include looking after yourself, how to structure your day, mental health support, local support available including food banks and family centres, and where to go for help when things get bad (domestic violence and children's services).

Please contact the school if there is any other support that you feel you need.

What to do in the event of a POSITIVE Covid test

In the event that a pupil or staff member at the school tests positive for COVID-19, we have certain procedures we must follow as advised by Public Health England.

If you receive confirmation of a positive test result outside of school hours for one of your children, please do not wait until the school is open again to inform us. Instead, please email covid@shawley.surrey.sch.uk as soon as you are made aware of the positive result, and let us know the best contact number to reach you on. This email address will be monitored and will allow the leadership team to initiate our response quickly and minimise disruption as much as possible.
