Learning from Home
While the school is closed, we very much hope that children will continue their learning. We are mindful that not all families have access to the same resources so have tried to provide children with a range of ways that they can complete learning at home.
Home Learning Packs - These are paper-based packs of activities for children to complete and have been given out to children at school. If your child has not been at school to receive one, please contact the school office to make arrangements for a pack to be collected or delivered.
Please click the relevant links below to access the ‘Learning from Home’ documents. If you have any queries with regards to logins or want to share some successfully completed tasks that your children are proud of then please don’t hesitate to pop an email across to the class email accounts.
Each Monday morning we will be sharing new documents from each phase group which contain suggested learning activities to be completed at home. Within the documents are:
- Early Bird Maths tasks
- White Rose Maths Lessons and Video Links
- Writing tasks
- Reading comprehensions (Key Stage 2)
- Extracurricular activities
Tasks are being regularly set for children on Purple Mash. If there are any issues with logging in to this site, please contact a member of staff using your child's class email address.
We would also encourage children to use Times Tables Rockstars to refine their multiplication tables skills!
For children in Key Stage 2 Gareth Metcalfe, of 'I See Maths', will be running 'live' maths lessons everyday (9:00am for Years 3&4 and 10:00am for Years 5&6). The lessons provide excellent opportunities to develop problem solving skills in a fun and challenging way. Please follow the link and enjoy http://www.iseemaths.com/home-lessons/
